Description

Gold, enamel and ivory. Plain gold hoop, triangular in section, widening at shoulders. Oval bezel, containing under glass a scene of an urn beneath a willow, painted in enamel. Framing the scene is a border formed of an inscription reserved in white enamel: EDMD. LEIGH OB: 22 FEB 1782. AE 31 [two diamond shapes each made up of two triangles]
