Gold, ivory and hair. Painted oval with chased edge, containing under glass, an oval disk of ivory painted with a scene showing a woman seated by an urn on a pedestal with a woodland background. This set on woven hair background surrounded by engraved gold frame. Glass cover. Reverse: glass, marquise 'window' to display woven hair. Provided with a ring for use as a pendant.
