Mourning brooch. Gold, pearl, enamel and hair. Centre oval of plaited hair under glass, surrounded by pearls set in gold. Blue enamel band, moving out to thin white enamel band, plain oval gold frame. On reverse: signs of inscription, so worn as to be illegible.
