Ring. Gold, enamel, silk and diamond. Broad, flat hoop decorated with white enamel reserved in gold lines, expanding in width towards the rectangular bezel. Bezel composed of curled snake border of white enamel with snake's tail in red enamel mouth. Eye of snake a diamond. Under glass a piece of silk fabrid. Behind the bezel is inscribed: John Harrison, Ob 14 April 1873 aet 7
