Description

Gold, plain hoop, expanding into shoulders. Long oval bezel bordered with pink and blue and white enamel and reserved metal lines, containing under glass a scene of a woman leaning and writing on a pedestal in a woodland. Pedestal in relief, the rest painted, probably on ivory. Engraved on back of bezel:
