Glazed steatite scarab
Glazed steatite scarab, inscribed on the base with a standing male figure, who appears to hold two cobras. The inclusion of the latter suggests that the subject is a representation of a king or a god. The figure, however, does not wear any crowns to identify him. It is possible that the figure is a representation of Horus as a child- there are parallel reliefs dating to this period that show the young deity holding snakes.
