Description

Porcelain vase, with painted and printed underglaze in shades of blue (sometsuke). The vase is rectangular in plan, and arrow shaped in elevation. It is decorated on each side with a broad stripe between narrow broken lines, groups of spots, and marks resembling part of a finger print. The interior is blue.

A mark has been impressed on one corner of the base, and inscribed 'Kondo' on the diagonally opposite corner of the base.
