Soft-paste porcelain vase and cover, moulded, pierced and applied with flowers, decorated overglaze in polychrome enamels and gilt.
Soft-paste porcelain vase and cover, moulded, pierced and applied with flowers, painted in underglaze-blue, polychrome enamels and gilt. The vases are of elaborate rococo form, with pierced necks, covers and 'frills' at the base of the body, with scroll handles. The mazarine-blue ground is decorated with exotic birds in ciselé gilding with pendant swags of naturalistically coloured applied flowers.
