Circular box and cover of hard-paste porcelain decorated with a dark blue enamel ground, and gilded edges

Hard-paste porcelain decorated with a dark blue enamel ground, and gilded. Circular with deep curved sides, covered by a slightly domed cover. Both parts are blue overall. The box has a gold band round the lower edge, and rim, and the cover has one round the rim. Accompanied by a case EC.23B-1946

History note: Uncertain before Countess May Cippico (daughter of Mrs Sigismund Goetze).
