Desk seal with amythest sealstone and facetted handle with chased gold mounts
Carved amythest with embossed and chased gold mounts. Rounded rectangular sealstone with an intaglio coat-of-arms beneath an Earl's coronet. Twelve-sided handle broadening towards the rounded faceted terminal. Domed and waisted mount decorated with flutes and borders of stiff leaves, flowerheads, acorns and thistles. In a fitted case (A).
