"... The type is 12 point Bulmer set in Monotype by M & H Type of San Francisco. The display faces on the title page are also Bulmer. A Gill Floriated initial is seen on page one. The paper is Rives, A French moldmade sheet, printed damp. The wood engravings were printed from the original blocks. Jack Walsdorf ... brought printer and author together, that printed being Neil Shaver. He used a Vandercook III press. The Campbell-Logan Bindery of Minneapolis bound the book. Claire Maziarczyk created the pastepaper for the binding. There are 210 copies in this edition"--Colophon. Museum has copy no. 38, signed by the author and engraver with inscription by the latter to John Dreyfus dated 3.12.1992. Quarter bound with in blue cloth with blue patterned paper sides; paper label on spine.
