Maker: Gautrait, Léopold Albert Marin
Gold, green, blue and white enamel, and green and grey translucent plique-à-jour enamel, set with two sapphires. Three sided with a triangular loop for suspension at the top, and two 'legs' on the lower edge; detachable pin-fastening on the back. In the centre is the head of a woman in profile to right earing a peacock headdress, the tail feathers of which fan out to fill the outline, the sapphires forming the 'eyes'. On the back, engraved lines fill the peacock's outline. Has unaccessioned case not original.
