Fruit wood; the round bowl carved with the Ascension of Christ on the front, and Lazarus rising from the tomb and the Crucifixion on the back
Fruit wood; the round bowl and tapering handle are carved all over with religious subjects and figures. The interior of the bowl depicts the Ascension of Christ; the back of the bowl depicts Lazarus rising from the tomb and the Crucifixion of Christ, all within inscribed borders. The handle depicts various figures round a spiral column and terminates in a bust of a praying man, possibly Christ, above a multitude of heads.
