PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, 352 x 243 mm (245 x 155 mm), 33 long lines, ruled in plummet.
CONTENTS: Opening leaf of the list of members of the Guild of Cordwainers who lived in the quartiere of the Ravenna gate.
DECORATION: Framed miniature showing St Petronius holding a model of the city of Bologna, the arms of Bologna prominent on his morse, with a three-sided bar and acanthus border including gold balls and a shield with the arms of the Cordwainers, a shoemaker’s knife, a shoe and a sandal.
