Description

Fruit wood and silver; the wood bowl on a silver handle square in cross section and inscribed

Fruit wood and silver; the wood bowl is fig-shaped on a short stem. The silver handle is square in cross section and broadens slightly towards the terminal, which has a small ball finial. The bowl of the spoon is varnished and may once have been painted. The front of the handle is engraved with an inscription 'Nyttjad under en Elfra årig fångenskaps tid' and initialled 'S'.
