Description

Agate and gilt metal; small spoon with russet coloured agate oval bowl and handle with gilt metal or gold ferrule

Small agate and gilt metal spoon. With an oval bowl of translucent russet, white and grey agate. It is attached to the almost flat, spatulate handle by a narrow gilt metal or gold ferrule, which is embossed with a border of flowers between two reeded bands.
The handle has been broken and repaired.
